INTEGRATED NUTRIENT MANAGEMENT
A. SULPHUR APPLICATION IN SOYBEAN

Problem diagnose: Low yield of soybean due to sulphur deficiency in soil.

Intervention: The KVK Tikamgarh has selected a technology module to IPNS i.e. recommended dose of fertilizers 20:60:20 + 30Kg N P K S Kg/ha.

Results: The data showed that the soybean yield increased by 28% by the application of 30 Kg/ha sulphur over farmers practices (No use of sulphur application).

Impact:): Looking the benefits of proved technology farmers are adopted rapidly in larger area which occupied 15% area of Soybean during current year of Kharif season, 2010.

B.ZINC APPLICATION IN WHEAT

Problem diagnose:Low yield (16%) of wheat due to zinc deficient in soils.

Intervention:The KVK has selected a technology modules to IPNS i.e. recommended dose of fertilizers with Zn 120:60:40:5, N P K Zn Kg/ha.

Results:The revealed that the wheat yield increased by 17% over farmers practices (No Zn application).

Impact:Looking the benefits of proved technology farmers are adopted rapidly in larger area which occupied 7840 ha area of wheat during Rabi season, 2009-10.
